There are loan programs and scholarships available!
Although Camden Military Academy is the most affordable military boarding school in the nation, there are loan programs that make tuition payments more affordable. These loan programs provide up-front funds to the Academy but let families spread the payments over a longer period of time than our tuition payment plans allow. If you are interested in any of the providers listed here, please contact them directly for current fees, rates and other details. Most, if not all, are credit-based loans and may have different standards of creditworthiness.
Extended payment plans are available from Your Tuition SolutionSM . Plans range from 24 to 84 months and cover tuition amounts to $50,000. Interest rates are fixed and can be as low as

Exceptional SC and we believe in opportunity.
Exceptional SC is the new face of the Educational Credit for Exceptional Needs Children. We are a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting exceptional needs students and families in South Carolina created by the passage of the Exceptional SC Law of 2021.
Exceptional SC will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year at noon on June 2nd. The application portal will remain open until September 30, 2025. All new families will need to create a new account during the open time frame. If an account has already been created a for previous school year, families will need to log in and confirm or make any necessary changes.

The Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program is administered by the South Carolina Department of Education that allows qualifying South Carolina families to apply for a scholarship of $7,500 per student, per year.
Scholarship funds can be used to create a customized, flexible education for their child.
Due to overwhelming demand, the limit of 10,000 scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year has been reached and a waiting list has been established. Visit the pre-qualification tool to see if you qualify and register for the waitlist.

Scholarship Guidelines
- Applications are accepted each year between February 1 and March 31. If March 31 falls on a weekend, the deadline date will be extended to the close of the first business day following March 31.
- Scholarship awards are up to $5,000…not to exceed $2,500 (minimum payment of $100) per term.
- Applicants must reapply each year they are interested in receiving funds from Folds of Honor.
- All application information must be submitted through the Folds of Honor online portal.
- Documentation is not accepted via US mail, fax, email or over the phone.
- Offer or denial notifications will be sent in mid-July. All funds are mailed directly to the educational institution. No funds are sent directly to an awardee.
USING A 529 PLAN TO FUND TUITION
529 Plans be used to fund a college education, but up to $10,000 per student can be used to pay private school tuition.
Potential Benefits:
Contributions to a 529 Plan are income tax deductible (Example: a $10,000 contribution by a parent in the 7% income tax bracket will receive a $700 reduction in his income tax).
If you don’t have a 529 Plan, you can establish one and begin using funds immediately.
Gains from investments are exempt from Federal and State taxes as long as the money is used to pay for qualifying educational expenses.
