Please note that the Monthly and Camden Plans are designed to give parents flexibility in providing their sons with a Camden Military Academy education. Families that opt for one of these plans are expected to remit the total payment due on the date indicated without any notification.

TUITION
TUITION — This fee covers instruction and room and board. It does not include spending money, special medical care beyond the facilities of the infirmary, driver’s education, flying lessons, or willful destruction of property. Parents are billed a $25 handling fee on a monthly basis for laundry and dry cleaning that exceeds $100 per month. Parents are billed on a monthly basis for extra charges incurred.
When comparing Camden Military Academy to other secondary military boarding schools, families often recognize clear differences in both environment and affordability. Most military schools today are coeducational and have day students which function much like a typical boarding school with a military component simply added in. Camden Military Academy remains one of the few all-boys, 100% boarding military schools in the country, creating an environment specifically designed to help young men develop self-discipline, confidence, accountability, and independence. The daily structure, leadership opportunities, and brotherhood found at CMA are intentionally centered around the unique needs and development of boys. In addition, many military boarding schools come with tuition costs that can feel overwhelming for families. USING A 529 PLAN TO FUND TUITION
529 Plans be used to fund a college education, but up to $20,000 per student can be used to pay private school tuition.
Potential Benefits:
- Contributions to a 529 Plan are income tax deductible (Example: a $10,000 contribution by a parent in the 7% income tax bracket will receive a $700 reduction in his income tax).
- If you don’t have a 529 Plan, you can establish one and begin using funds immediately.
- Gains from investments are exempt from Federal and State taxes as long as the money is used to pay for qualifying educational expenses.
