Last Friday night’s matchup between Camden Military Academy and Spartanburg Christian Academy turned into a barnburner, but in the end, it was the Spartans who came out on top. Pulling off a thrilling 50–47 victory.
Spartanburg Christian Academy may have put up their highest point total of the year, but it wasn’t enough to fend off our Spartans, fueled by memories of their previous meeting with the Warriors back in September 2024, we entered the game with something to prove and we delivered. The three-point margin highlighted just how evenly matched these teams were, with both sides trading scores until the final whistle.
The setback dropped Spartanburg Christian Academy to 2–2 on the season, while our Spartans improved to an even 1–1. For the Warriors, it was a tough pill to swallow as they watched a promising offensive explosion fall just short. For our Spartans, the win was more than just evening the record it was a confidence-boosting statement victory against a rival opponent.
Looking ahead, we will welcome Pinewood Prep on Friday at 5:00 p.m., where the Spartans will aim to build on their momentum and push their record!
