Spartan Football Come to an End

As the final whistle sounds, your 2025 Camden Military Academy Spartans finish the season off with another W in the win column.  It wasn’t necessarily the tale of the full season, but it was a great way to finish off the year.  When fall camp started in August, there was a lot of unknowns about this 2025 team.  What players were coming back? What new players were going to show up? What offense would give us the best opportunity to compete? Some of those questions were answered, and some were not.

The Spartans finished the 2025 season with 2 wins and 6 losses.  As the team got to know each other and established some continuity, there was always an obstacle to overcome.  This 2025 team overcame a lot, like players leaving and injuries.  But the core group stayed together and climbed that mountain for that last game win.  The leaders on this team were some of the best that the Spartans have had in recent years.

Lead by seniors Christopher Thorpe (OL/DL), Thomas Bush (WR/DB), Jacob Smoak (Athlete), William Wenger (WR/DB/K), Jacob Graham (OL), Knox Cheatham (LB), Davis Hamilton (OL,OLB), and Erich Barrette (OL,DL), the Spartans toughed out a great season.  Juniors Micquel Newsome (Athlete), Tommy Lebon (WR/DE), and Jackson Sigg (TE/DE), also had big contributions throughout the season.

Finishing the season on a high note with a 56-37 win was a great way to go out.  We had a few season records broken in the game.  The one thing you can say about this 2025 Camden Military Academy Spartan football team is there was no quit and al ot of fight!
