Oftentimes we get the question, “What does the admissions process look like?” or “How do I apply?” The admissions process is designed to assess whether Camden is the right fit for prospective students and their families. It begins with an online application, which requires basic student information, previous academic records, and some pertinent information about your student. We do not require recommendation letters, but you can always submit them if you have them! Once the application is submitted, families are encouraged to schedule a campus visit or attend a virtual information session to experience the school’s facilities and meet faculty members and cadets.
After the initial application review, our admissions office will request an interview with the applicant to better understand their goals, strengths, and willingness to adapt to the environment at Camden. This interview can take place in person or virtually. Once a decision is made, accepted students receive an enrollment packet with detailed instructions on uniforms, schedules, and expectations. Camden operates on a rolling admissions basis, meaning applications are accepted throughout the year, but early submission is encouraged to secure placement.
Camden’s admissions process is designed to ensure that each student has the opportunity to find success both academically and personally. By carefully reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and assessing academic and personal backgrounds, we aim to admit students who are willing to embrace Camden’s values and challenges. “We want students to find their success and develop essential skills that can help them in both college and life. I am so appreciative that I have been able to witness the growth in leadership and character development from initial application to graduation!” – Casey Robinson, Dean of Enrollment and Administration.
