Revolutionary History

Cadets Micheal Eilbeck and Jude Carter represented Camden Military Academy with pride and enthusiasm as they performed at the South Carolina State Fair. Invited by the South Carolina 250 Commission, the pair helped commemorate the state’s rich history by providing live musical performances that enhanced the visitor experience at the SC 250 exhibit hall inside the Ruff Building. Their performance not only showcased their musical talent and discipline but also highlighted Camden’s ongoing commitment to excellence, leadership, and community engagement across the state.

During their time at the fair, Eilbeck and Carter experienced a whirlwind of memorable moments. They had the honor of meeting South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and the British Consulate General from Atlanta, as well as appearing on Greenville’s NBC Channel 4 for a televised interview. The cadets also proudly marched and played during the flag-raising ceremony and National Anthem, drawing admiration from fairgoers who stopped to take photos and express their appreciation. By the end of the day, they had posed with hundreds of visitors, shared countless smiles, and left a lasting impression as ambassadors of Camden Military Academy and the SC 250 celebration.
