As a senior at Camden Military Academy, I find myself approaching the finish line of my high school journey. Being a senior at Camden is a unique experience, far different from what most students experience at traditional schools. I first arrived at Camden as a sophomore, and while it hasn’t always been easy, this school was never meant to coddle us or hand out praise without effort. Instead, Camden challenges us to push beyond our limits, molding us into the best versions of ourselves! Looking back, I can confidently say that this school has provided me with opportunities I would have never encountered at a public school, from taking college-level courses to forming lifelong bonds with the brothers I’ve gained along the way. I have gained much from my time at Camden.
As I prepare for graduation, I am appreciating every moment. Whether it’s spending time with friends, engaging in meaningful conversations with my teachers and TAC officers, or participating in the final trips and traditions as a Camden cadet, I am reminded of how quickly time has passed. It feels like just yesterday I was a nervous sophomore, adjusting to the hardship of Military life. Now, as I stand on the brink of a new chapter, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the person I have become. Camden Military Academy has not only prepared me for the challenges ahead but has also given me a foundation of self-discipline, resilience, and brotherhood that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
