A group of our cadets visited a local Elementary School today to read to students for “Read Across America” week. This week is dedicated to encouraging and motivating students to devote time to and celebrate reading! Reading is essential for students’ academic success and personal development. It enhances vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking skills! Beyond academics, reading fosters creativity, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning. It helps students develop better communication skills and gain a broader perspective on the world! “I’m not sure who had more fun, us reading or the students listening. It was a great time to share the excitement of reading with these students!” – Cadet Sean Prater. We were excited to be a part of this and our cadets enjoyed their time with these students!
