Leadership in Action!

At Camden Military Academy we encourage students to get involved with clubs and activities, this allows them to gain experience and build self-confidence by stepping out of their comfort zone! Some of these clubs focus heavily on leadership, including our Civil Air Patrol program. This program is a popular club for students and recently some of our cadets were able to put those leadership skills in to practice.

Cadet Noah Dyson, a student of Camden Military Academy for 3 years now, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol for 4 had the amazing opportunity to go with Matthew Wong and LTC Johns to North Central Middle School and teach 40 kids there about leadership. “Wong and I explained what leadership is, and how to use it. After that, we were able to talk about Civil Air Patrol, a club here in Camden that allows kids to do Search and Rescue, learn the skills of leadership, and most importantly obtain there pilots license if they choose!” – Dyson Next year, Dyson and Wong will be the cadet executive officer and commander of the squadron here, leading 150 cadets through lessons they have learned there and at CMA. “After reading this, I hope you consider signing your son up for this amazing organization in August. Hope to see you then!” – Dyson
