2026 Camden Military Academy Lacrosse Updates!

The 2026 Camden Military Academy Lacrosse Team began the preseason with tremendous excitement and enthusiasm, as more than 40 cadets signed up to be part of the program. For many of these young men, lacrosse was a completely new sport, making the level of interest and participation especially encouraging. It speaks to the willingness of CMA cadets to challenge themselves, try new things, and work together as a team.

As the preseason progressed and the first game of the season approached, the roster settled at 29 players. Despite many players being new to the sport, the team showed a strong commitment to learning the fundamentals and improving each day on the field. Coaches and returning players worked hard to help newer cadets understand the game, develop their stick skills, and build the teamwork necessary to compete.

The start of the season, however, presented some unexpected challenges. Both players and coaches had to battle through the flu and other illnesses that affected practices and early games. While the team faced some early frustrations, the cadets continued to push forward with determination and a positive attitude.

With each practice and game, the team began to develop stronger individual skills and a better sense of teamwork. Players started gaining confidence, communicating more effectively on the field, and most importantly, enjoying the game. Their hard work paid off in exciting fashion when the Spartans secured their second victory of the season in a thrilling overtime win.

This moment marked an important step forward for the team and demonstrated the resilience and growth that defines Spartan athletics. As the season continues, the future looks bright for this hardworking group of cadets.

Onward and upward.
GO SPARTANS! 🥍
