his past weekend, the Camden Military Academy Scuba Diving Club headed down to Florida for an unforgettable dive trip. We loaded up the cars on Friday and made the long drive south, buzzing with excitement for the dives ahead. On Saturday, we dove into the Blue Grotto, a stunning underwater spring with crystal-clear water and unique underwater formations that made for a mesmerizing experience. After that, we went to the Rainbow River, where we did a drift dive. The current took us gently down the river, allowing us to float by schools of fish and vibrant aquatic life—it was pure tranquility beneath the surface.
The trip wrapped up on Sunday with what turned out to be our favorite dive of the weekend—Devil’s Den. This ancient underground spring is known for its cavernous chambers and perfect visibility, making it an unforgettable experience for the whole group. We spent hours exploring the formations and soaking in the beauty of the natural spring. The whole weekend was packed with thrilling dives, great camaraderie, and memories that we’ll cherish until the next adventure. It’s safe to say we’re already looking forward to the next trip!
