The Camden Military Academy Cross Country team traveled to Great Falls High School for our cross country meet. The team had six returning runners from last year’s team while the rest of this year’s team is newcomers. Nick Fields, CMA class of 2017, and Jeremiah Palmer, class of 2024, were two former runners who came to cheer and support the runners. These guys have always believed in our theme “ONE HEARTBEAT” from day one. All of our runners, past and present, will always be a part of this brotherhood. Great Falls is a difficult course to run with all of the rocks, hills, and clay. The Camden team finished first out of 14 teams with a score of 44 followed by Riverwalk Academy’s score of 50. Camden’s top runner in this meet was junior Mason Tirone with a time of 20:55 minutes. The other schools that ran in this meet include Brookland Cayce, Cardinal Newman, Chester High School, Gray Collegiate Academy, Great Falls High School, Hawthorne Christian Academy, Lancaster High School, Lewisville, McBee High School, Midlands STEM Institute, Newberry Academy, and North Central High School.
