Did you know at Camden you can get a PADI speciality dive course that is only offered to cadets at Camden Military? This course was developed by Jeremy Butler, a PADI IDC Staff Instructor (Instructor Development Course Staff Instructor) and retired Army Ranger. The course combines scuba diving with the military aspect of the school. Focusing on the military core skills of “Shoot, Move, Communicate” while also adding in physical fitness and first aid! Cadets taking this course must participant in classroom instruction, pool dives, and open water dives. They must show mastery in underwater navigation, knot tying, communication, and dive planning and execution!
This course is available to any student who is already a PADI Open Water Diver! While it is a challenging course, students can improve their skills and gain knowledge that will help them achieve even more certifications in the future!
