This past January, I had an unforgettable ski trip to Winterplace Resort in West Virginia with my friends from Camden Military. The excitement began before we hit the slopes as we picked our hotel roommates, setting the stage for a weekend filled with laughter and good vibes. Staying at the hotel added a cozy touch to the trip, giving us a warm place to unwind after long days out in the cold. The food vouchers we received made meal times effortless and fun—we indulged in everything from burgers to hot chocolate. Sharing these moments with friends made it even better, whether we were joking around in the hotel or comparing our skiing highlights over dinner.
Winterplace was stunning, a true winter wonderland that felt like something out of a movie. The snow-covered slopes stretched endlessly, and the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly faces everywhere—from the resort staff to other skiers who were thrilled to be there. I’ve always loved skiing, and this trip reminded me why: the adrenaline, the challenge, and the sheer fun of gliding down the slopes. It was super cold, though but the chill only made the hot chocolate breaks and warm food even more enjoyable. This trip was more than just skiing; it was about making memories with great friends in an unforgettable setting. Winterplace gave us a time we’ll always treasure.
