The CMA golf team has opened its season with an admirable display of consistency, teamwork, determination, and most importantly, a positive attitude! In their first matches of the Spring, led by returning team captains Davis Hamilton and Ty Davolt, the team posted some great scores, setting a strong tone for the matches ahead.
One of the most encouraging signs for the team this year is its depth. Newer players are stepping up and contributing solid rounds that have helped the team post some low scores. Along with the team captains, Lucas Lu, Charlie Parker, Marshall Kane, Jayden Halim and Sean Salem, round out this year’s team. The cadets are engaged in a lot of laughter and fun competition with each other on the course during practice. They are having a great time enjoying this awesome game of golf.
With this strong start, expectations are rising. The team is now setting its sights on the school scoring record. If they continue to build on this momentum, fine tuning their skills, and staying focused and relaxed, this season could become one of the best for CMA golf.
