Faith, leadership, and fellowship were on full display this morning during Camden Military Academy’s weekly Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) breakfast. Each week, cadets gather together before the school day begins to share a meal, strengthen their faith, and encourage one another through devotionals led by their fellow classmates.
This week, Cadets Fitzpatrick and Williams had the opportunity to present the morning’s sermon. Standing in front of their peers, they shared meaningful reflections about faith, personal growth, and the importance of supporting one another through life’s challenges. Their message served as a reminder of the power of faith and the influence that young leaders can have on their peers.
A unique aspect of FCA at Camden Military Academy is that a different company of cadets leads the devotional each week. This tradition allows students to step forward, share their perspectives, and practice leadership in a meaningful and supportive environment. It also gives cadets the chance to openly discuss their faith and the role it plays in their lives.
Moments like these highlight the strong sense of brotherhood that exists among Camden cadets. When students feel comfortable sharing their faith, experiences, and encouragement with one another, it strengthens the entire community.
We are incredibly proud of Cadets Fitzpatrick and Williams for their willingness to speak, lead, and mentor their fellow cadets through faith.
