HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

JULY 7-JULY 25

Did your son do poorly in a class? Would he like to take classes to get ahead? Does he want to refresh a previously learned skill? If you and your son would like the opportunity to improve his academic standing, Camden Military summer school is the program to help your son succeed.

ACADEMICS:

Camden’s summer program features small class sizes, tutors and supervised study periods to ensure your son’s success. It is accredited by COGNIA (formerly known as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) which means most schools accept all credits earned.

Attending Camden Military Academy’s summer program is the perfect way for students to experience the academy’s structured and supportive environment while enjoying a rewarding and adventure-filled summer. The non-military summer program blends academics, leadership development, and outdoor activities, helping students build confidence, self-discipline, and time management skills. It also serves as an ideal introduction for those considering enrollment in the regular school year, allowing them to adjust to the campus, meet faculty and fellow cadets, and become familiar with the academy’s expectations. By the end of the summer, students leave with improved study habits, enhanced leadership abilities, and a sense of accomplishment—making the transition into Camden’s academic year seamless and successful.

During CMA’s summer program high school students can earn 1 academic credit in 3 weeks! The class taken is usually a course that needs to be taken for a second time. However, students wishing to take a course for the first time can audit the course which means the student would take the class and do the assignments but not be awarded a grade on his transcript.

Weekend activities and trips are included in the summer program! Those activities may be paintball, white water rafting, movie trips, amusement parks and more! The activities and trips vary each year.
