Camden Military Academy now has a Weightlifting & Strength Training club open to any high school cadet interested in improving his physical fitness level or setting personal strength goals. The club is headed by Capt. Trapp and Capt. Davis, both lifting enthusiasts.
The reason this club was established was to mentor and monitor safe lifting technique, encourage personal fitness goal setting, and to build self confidence. This is a good way for cadets to relate to each other, create friendships, and also foster new techniques and safe practices while lifting with the two staff members.
The club meets after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:45pm until 5pm.
