Volunteering at the Kershaw County Farmers Market

Last Saturday, Corporal Burnett and I went to help Mrs. Bordner, our librarian, with the sod sale at the Kershaw County Farmers Market. Usually on weekends, we get to sleep in. This particular weekend we woke up early to get there and set up. We had a great time and even got to look around at what other people were selling.
One thing I loved was the smell of the donut stand that was just a couple yards away. I also enjoyed seeing the face of a customer helping to donate to Food for the Soul, a local homeless shelter and soup kitchen. Volunteering was a great way to help Food for the Soul and to get off campus for a bit.
