2014 2015 Soccer Team

CMA Varsity Soccer Team had an outstanding finish to an exciting season when they played their last game against Keenan High School on last Thursday April 30. Our Varsity team won the game by a decisive 5 to 1 score.
"Practicing hard, improving and getter better in all aspects of the game was the main goal Coach Ararat and I set for the team at the beginning of the season", says Coach Ferjani.
Goalkeeper, P. Kleiber , proved to be an outstanding dedicated keeper. Our defense, led by W. Ladevich and R. Knutson, had a strong season and kept the opponents at bay. Upfront, team captains J. Mcguire, A. Betti and M. Zazlower led the midfield and the attack. J. Moreno and I. Chamon were lethal as strikers, scoring the team's most goals.
Coach Ferjani and Coach Ararat would like to wish the best of luck to the graduating players and look forward to an even better season next year.

The CMA JV soccer team played their last game on Tuesday April 28 with a season record of four wins, three ties and four losses. They scored eleven goals, allowing only eight. Their performance during the 2015 season was amazing. The team was led by the three captains: Anthony Brown, Enike Domia and Evan Hill. These cadet athletes along with Erich Alfonso, Brent Buckley, Joseph Degenhart, Luke Gagliardo, Jett Mathers, Evan Jones, Austin Brewer, Jacob Rance, Sam Staar, Andrew Miller, Vijay Aysola, Ryan Vespoli, Ben Mitchell, Cooper Halabi, Hardin Prezioso, Tate Prezioso, Jose Villeda and Ryan Bachman put in time and effort to finish the season with a winning record. Coaches Ararat and Ferjani said, “Great season, guys and a very decent ending”. The boys tied their last game with Cheraw High School 0-0 and couldn’t win the game on the penalty kick shootouts. Overall, the boys should be proud of a great season.
The coolers have been put in the storage, the bleachers are empty. the jerseys, the socks and the shorts have been washed once again, the corner flags have been taken down, the practice balls as well as the game balls are in the mesh bags... It’s over. We will have to wait until next season to start all over again.
