Varsity - The varsity baseball team has been working hard for the past four weeks in conditioning and practice.

The team had a scrimmage at Lee Central High School and won. Scrimmage highlights include: a diving catch from Furman Cooper, a solid two innings of pitching from Jack Thurman, and some great at bats from Hayden Davidson, Mason Van Loan, and Cooper.

The varsity baseball team opens play this Saturday, Feb. 27 at the North Central Preseason Baseball Tournament, which the Spartans won last year. The first game is at 10 a.m., with the next game to follow immediately.

Junior Varsity - The junior varsity baseball team has been working very hard in the preseason. The team has a lot of new faces to learn and coach, but there is a lot of excitement about the upcoming season. The first game is scheduled for March 7 at McBee.
