U.S history is moving right along on my schedule. Having finished the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression, we are now entering into my personal favorite part of history: World War II. We have begun by studying the political and military ramifications of the early to mid-1930s. In the coming week, we hope to go through the American role in the war, including the African, European, and Pacific theater, as well as lend-lease agreements and production on the home front. From here, we will begin the Cold War. I believe that we will reach and complete the Reagan Era by the end of the year. I have seen continued progress from the students and I find that there are many budding historical scholars among my classes.
