Troop 38 News:

By: Casey Robinson on Nov 16, 2012 | Categories:

About two weeks ago, the troop completed a 20 mile hike through the trails of the Congaree National Park. The troop experienced ancient forests with huge, old growth Bald Cypress trees, 2 1/2 miles of raised trails through primeval bottomland, and a lunch break on a sandbank on the Congaree River. With the hike and two nights out camping at the park, scouts welcomed a hot shower and warm bed back on campus Sunday afternoon.

Eagle Scout candidate Brandon Waters has placed 8 well-made benches throughout the CMA campus as a product of his Eagle project. Good luck to Brandon on his upcoming Eagle Board!

Nick Marullo is starting work on his Eagle project, which involves sign work at the local Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site. Good luck to Nick!
