On Monday, we celebrate and honor our Veterans! There is a Veteran's Day Program at 11:00am. CMA thanks all of our veterans and for the sacrifices they have all made fighting for, protecting and ensuring the freedoms we enjoy today!
On Tuesday, the Drama/Arts Department heads to The Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC for a reward trip for all their heard work in their recent performance of "TellTale Heart". ENCORE!!! is a performance of short stories including "TellTale Heart", "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", "The Necklace", "The Monkey's Paw", and "Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County".
On Wednesday, we will have make-up pictures for our seniors. Each of our seniors is special to us and we do not want any senior to not have his picture made and be left out of this year's Yearbook.
On Thursday, those who have signed up for and are in good academic and behavior standing will depart at 8:30am for a trip to Myrtle Beach to attend Medieval Times. Medieval Times - The fantasy comes alive as you travel back in time to the 11th century spectacles of jousting, swordplay, horsemanship, and falconry abound; a time of Spanish castles, Knights of the Realm and feasting in a true medieval fashion-utensil-free!
The Show: You’ll still be encouraged to cheer for one of six brave Knights of the Realm! The new production features amazing lighting, costumes, choreography, exciting battle scenes, new horse dressage elements and a fresh musical score by the world renowned composer Daniel May. Are you ready to surrender to an age of bravery and honor? It’s going to be epic so hang on to your helmets the show is about to GET MEDIEVAL!!
On Friday, The CMA Boy Scout Troop heads to Blythewood for the weekend for an awesome camp out weekend. The guys will be led by Scout Master LTC Greg Simonson. The scouts will be participating in many activities including orienteering. Orienteering is a family of sports that requires navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain, and normally moving at speed. Participants are given a topographical map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points.
On Saturday, another Saturday Morning Inspection is scheduled. On Sunday, Chaplain Walker will bring this week's message during our weekly Sunday morning chapel service.
