This Week at CMA Oct 21-Oct 27
On Tuesday, Charlene Dykes from PortraitEFX, will be here taking Yearbook pics. Cadets, Faculty, and Staff will make their way to the gym dressed in their proper attire... including a handsome (or beautiful) smile on their faces. By 7:00pm, however, that smile may be coming off as our nurses will be administering Flu shots at 7:00pm for all those not wanting to risk tackeling the Flu bug this season! A slightly painful shot lasting only a few seconds, but its benefits far outweigh the alternative!
On Wednesday, cadets can participate in the EXPLORE/PLAN/PRACTICE ACT TEST. This helps prepare our students to be better prepared to take this all important ACT test which many colleges/universities look at when considering acceptance to their school.
On Friday, the Varsity football team seeks to continue their new WINNING streak! The mighty Spartans travel to McBee to take on the McBee Panthers.
On Saturday, the cadets head to Blythewood, SC to "battle" against other schools in a "Drill Meet" to see which is the superior military school when it comes to the military drills.
On Saturday, the cadets who signed up for ACT test will head to Lugoff-Elgin High School to take this all important test. The ACT assessment measures high school students' general educational development and their capability to complete college entry-level work covering 4 skills areas: English, Math, Reading, and Science. The optional Writing Test measures skills in planning and writing a short essay.
On Sunday, the cadets will meet in the Cline Chapel at 9:00am for this week's church service. Chaplain Walker will be giving this week's sermon.
