I will attempt to keep parents and others informed about the activities on our campus in my weekly blog.  To stay up-to-date, please subscribe to this blog or become a friend on Facebook.

This will be a busy week for the cadets.  We are approaching the end of the first two weeks of school and the nearing the time to complete company certification so that cadets may leave on their FIRST furlough of the school year!!  On Tuesday, the CMA Cross Country team has a meet at Cheraw.  Wednesday is the “Spartan Challenge!!”  This challenge is an afternoon filled with team building exercises and a lot of fun.  Each company has designed a spirit flag and a company t-shirt.  This day is always a day of fun and often the beginning of the bond of brotherhood for our cadets.  Thursday afternoon will be a sports filled afternoon with Cross Country traveling to Indian Land and middle school (5:30pm) and JV (7pm) Spartan football teams traveling to North Central.  Friday is college day for our seniors followed by our first military parade of the year at 1pm.  At the conclusion of our parade, the first furlough of the year commences for those who have qualified.  Friday night lights will be on for our varsity football squad as they travel to North Central High School for an intra-county battle.  Finally on Saturday, the ACT is offered at Lugoff Elgin High School for those who have signed up.

Have a great week and Go Spartans!!
