Lacrosse News from Coach Willox -

Last week the team traveled to Rock Hill for their first victory of the season. Players Shane McEnery, George Chestnut, Nathan Chambers and Dylan Ganyard were able to fill the Rock Hill net in the second half to secure the victory despite trailing at halftime. On defense, George Chestnut and 8th grade goaltender Liam Dolan made key stops to hold off Rock Hill.

Last Saturday, the team beat Goose Creek on the Spartan field. Players Lance Loughmiller, Joe Ware and Cody Holdeman were able to deliver a strong second half performance as they outscored Goose Creek 9-4 in the last two quarters. Offensive efforts were led by Shane McEnery and George Chestnut. Liam Dolan made several gigantic saves throughout the game.

Captains Shane McEnery and George Chestnut hope to continue to capture key wins against upcoming conference opponents Savannah, Cusabo and Effingham.

Tennis News from Coach Darby -

The CMA Varsity Tennis Team started out the season with 2 defeats from Camden High and Hammond. The Spartans beat Marlboro Academy 9-0 on March 2. Coach Darby says the team has a good mix of youth and experience. Players include: James Covington, Austin MacDonald, Kristian Saul Andre Russoniello, Jakob VanderWaal, and Andrew Levine.

Junior Varsity Soccer News from Coach Ararat -

Camden Military Academy JV Soccer team had a great start this season by defeating Ben Lippen 2-1. The Spartans played a good first half with good ball possession and combinations between midfielders and forwards. Sophomore Kyle Rhodes picked up a ball past the midfield and blasted it into the goal. Sophomore Fahad Al-Malik dribbled through the Falcons' defense and scored the second goal.

The Spartans are exctied to continue the season!

Golf News from Coach Mobley -

Coach Mobley is looking forward to the season. Players have been practicing hard and enjoying improving their skills. Players include: Connor Bolton, Joseph Loebsack, Sean McDermott, Landon Oates, Matthew Rush, Joseph Smithwick, and Noah Woody.
