Planning begins for our Scouts this year!

I am excited to start the new school year with Scouts Troop 38! We have 10 old scouts returning this year, and we have already had a dozen new cadets express interest in joining!

We are planning a lot of exciting activities this year, including our first Eagle project. Cadet Charles Duke will be leading the project, which will involve restoring a Revolutionary War cannon at the local park. Cadet Roman Lepekha will also be starting his Eagle project, which will involve recreating WWII signs at the nearby Woodward Airfield.

We are also planning several hiking and camping trips. Our first campout will be held in October at the Revolutionary War site park. I am looking forward to a great year with Scouts Troop 38!
