The scouts camped out at Paris Mountain State Park. On Saturday, February 4th, 2017 the troop hiked nearly the whole Swamp Rabbit trails through Greenville County for a total of nearly 20 miles. The trails showed the scouts what can be done through urban reclamation of damaged, garbage-filled land. To say that the troop was tired afterward would be an understatement. The scouts also earned the Polar Bear merit badge for camping in below freezing weather. The temperature was 21 degrees F. Friday night, and not much warmer Saturday night!
