The seventh grade robotic team competed in regional competition on Saturday, December 7 in Florence, SC. The team has worked very hard all year long to prepare for the competition. Alex Tate and Kameron Gentile will be running the robot, Spartacus. They have 2 minutes to complete the robot missions and having been scoring ~200 points per round. The core values captains are Chris Kissam and Calvin Wu. The are integrating their daily lives at CMA with First Lego League values. Patrick Brooks, Gabriel Larsen and Sheldon Tamilio head up the research project team. They have developed an emergency survival back pack encoded with an RFID. The highlight is the team's skit and rap explaining all they have learned during the FLL robotic season. There are over 600 teams competing in South Carolina. Only 60 teams will qualify for the state tournament in February. Hopefully, the Techno Spartans will be in the finals!
