Meet Captain Shields!

We are excited to welcome our new Computer Science teacher, Matthew Shields!

Matthew Shields was born in Bremerton, WA and has lived in Singapore, Illinois, Florida, Washington, Minnesota, and South Carolina. He graduated from Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, MN in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In high school, Matthew earned a Silver Medal for the National Latin Exam (NLE) and was VP of his local youth group. In his spare time he enjoys playing chess and writing. He and his wife, Anna, reside in Columbia, SC.
