On November 18, Cadets Jake Dean, Jack Thurman, Austin Martin, Alex Ranft, Thomas Azrelyant, and Brent Buckley, CMA representatives to Junior Leadership Kershaw County, joined other Junior Leadership students to visit schools throughout the county.

The group made stops at Camden High School, North Central High School, Lugoff-Elgin High School, and Camden Military Academy. After visiting Camden High and North Central High, they ate lunch at Food for the Soul, a local food service center where homeless and poverty stricken residents in Kershaw County are served free meals. Eating lunch there was a very humbling experience that made everyone thankful for their blessings.

After lunch everyone toured Camden Military Academy. Cadets were proud to share with local teenagers the history of the school and sites on the campus. Everybody was very interested in learning about how CMA operates. The whole day was a very good experience for everyone.
