Junior Leadership Summary

The March Junior Leadership session began by us being introduced to Mr. Kidd, a Kershaw County government representative, and eight business owners, four large and four small. They talked to us about their work and the requirements and opportunities to be a part of the corporations. I enjoyed this because it gave us a sense of the workplace in a career field. It also showed how stressful being a business owner can be.
After a Chic-Fil-A catered lunch, we presented our mentor projects. This was a great experience for me because it lets me release the true feeling I wanted to express about the job I was so passionate about. We got to hear from everyone, which goes into another lesson they taught us about the importance of networking. This session taught us that no matter what, we are all connected, and it is always appropriate to ask for help no matter what the situation is
