Jewish Federation of Columbia visits CMA!

Members of the Columbia Jewish Federation came on campus on Monday, December 16th, to interact with our students to teach them some aspects of the Jewish culture; specifically about Hannukah. Cheryl, Laney and Josh brought latkes (fried potato pancakes), sufganiyot (donuts), and gelt (chocolate coins) to share some of the Jewish culture with the students. Students who attended this special event are a part of Chaplain Hunter's Bible History Class and students who are of the Jewish faith. The students had a great time and were invited to attend a Jewish festival in Columbia sometime in May. We look forward to this festival and learning more about the Jewish faith.
