Helmet Raised

Saturday, November 2nd was Camden Military’s Homecoming game but also their last game. The Spartans played their heart out the entire season. They finally broke the losing streak this season with a 30 to nothing win over New Covenant and came close to a lot of wins with other teams. The homecoming game against the Rabun Gap Eagles was the last game for some of the Spartans. The very last time to suit up wearing the white and black helmet, the black pants, and the Spartan jersey! For some of the seniors, it was the last time they’d ever play on the gridiron. For others, just the end of their high school career, The Eagles weren’t a team to be soft with, they were very athletic and talented. The Spartans lost 14-42 but fought hard the entire game. I wish best of luck to the underclassmen and the varsity football team next year. Kick some tail and win some games, go undefeated! Football is Life.
