Homecoming Football Game

The Spartan football team played highly ranked Trinity Academy on Saturday. The first half was a stalemate, and at halftime the score was 0-0. Trinity scored first in the second half to lead 6-0. CMA answered back with Kimani Fletcher scoring on a 35 yard touchdown run to tie the score at 6-6. Trinity Academy wore down the Spartans the rest of the second half. The Spartans never quit and battled to the end. Coach Rice was proud of the effort the Spartans demonstrated. The highlights for the Spartans were the entire defense for their efforts in the game. Kimani Fletcher ran for 150 yards and had an interception. Both Brian Lopez and Cade Sanders played well at quarterback.
