Specia Olympics

Camden Military Academy hosted the Kershaw County Special Olympics on Friday, April 20, 2018. Approximately 300 athletes from each school in Kershaw County descended on to CMA’s campus for a day of sport and fun! After a morning full of athletic competition, lunch was served in the CMA dining facility. Following lunch, there was a “dance off” in CMA’s gymnasium. All of the athletes and volunteers were invited on to the dance floor to have a good time and celebrate this very special day.

Volunteers from all over Kershaw County assisted 50 CMA cadets in duties ranging from parking cars to becoming a “buddy” for a special athlete. Luckily, the weather cooperated, and a great time was had by all. We can’t wait to host the 2019 Special Olympics!
