CMA Cadet helps out the Community

Cadets Sanchez, Fredericks, Branch, Villalobos and Klaas made an enormous impact this weekend in the Hispanic community, Puerto Rican community and International community. Fredericks accompanied me to an event called Noche de Sabor, a night of dancing and proceeds went to Circle de Luz, a program of mentoring and scholarships for latinas in the Charlotte area. Although Fredericks did not know how to dance bachata or salsa, he managed to learn from various dancers and by the end of the night he was holding his ground while dancing bachata with one of the instructors of the classes of dance.
Sanchez, Branch, Villalobos and Klaas accompanied me yesterday to Charlotte to help the Puerto Rican Cultural Society of Charlotte with its efforts to send relief supplies to Puerto Rico. All five cadets received high compliments from all that were present due to how they treated all that were volunteering and donating supplies. The President of the Puerto Rican Cultural Society has requested that our color guard be present for future events as our students represented themselves as true young gentlemen that care about others and the world and were beyond respectful, polite and helpful during the event yesterday.
