CMA at the HISPANIC MUSIC and DANCE SHOW

It was a cold and rainy Tuesday morning.  We left for Columbia at 8:30 AM. The traffic was bad on I-20, but arrived at EAU Claire HS auditorium on time. There were kids from schools across the state  of SC, eager to watch this nationwide famous show. We got in and took our seats, then we were all delighted with music and dances from Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. we saw professional artists dancing different rhythms such as Cumbia, Tango, salsa, Cueca, Merengue and a special show called "Boleadoras".
By the end of the show, which was about 90 minutes, the announcer asked some students to go on stage for salsa lessons. Cadets, Beatty and Domanico represented our school very well.
After the show we took a short drive To Eric's San Jose Authentic Mexican Restaurant. We all enjoyed enchiladas, tacos, carne asada, quesadillas and more. Some cadets tried fried ice cream, flan and sopapilla for dessert. We returned safely at 2:30 PM. MAJ. Ararat,  LTC. Ferjani and CPT. Wright agreed that we all cadets and teachers had a great time and learned a lot about the Hispanic culture.
