Camden Military Academy celebrated the holiday season the last week of school with various events. To kick off the festivities, the entire cadet corps participated in the Kershaw County/Camden Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14. Later that evening, selected cadets served as escorts for the Camden Candlelight Tour of Homes in the historic district of Camden. On Sunday, there was a special Christmas service held during the on-campus chapel service.
During the week, cadets enjoyed two holiday meals! The first meal was steak dinner with all of the trimmings. The second was a traditional Christmas meal with ham, sweet potatoes and such. Both meals were exceptional!
Many cadet clubs and teams also celebrated the holidays with off campus trips, activities and meals. The drama class presented their annual Christmas play and the digital marketing class presented a very special Christmas edition of the Camden Bugler via Facebook Live.
Finally, by noon on Friday, December 20, the corps were all en route to celebrate the holidays with their families!
