CMA 2019-2020 New Faculty

Greg Holman has been involved in education for 27+ years with very diverse teaching experiences. He started as an outdoor science school naturalist in Maine and southern California, then taught classroom science and math in California. He became an outdoor adventure tour guide in Canada, USA and Mexico for Trek America, then taught English in Mexico for several years to Mexican Navy Captains, and Mexican executives in various companies. He returned to the USA to teach adult education science and math, and has taught Spanish for the past 5 years including Adjunct Spanish professor at Maine Maritime Academy and last year at Howe Military Academy in Indiana. He has a B.A. degree in psychobiology, and graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College in Maine. He learned Spanish through his 17 year immersion experience in Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico and has completed coursework in Spanish through the University of Wisconsin and Santa Barbara City College. He has community theatre acting experience in Maine, starring as Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Enoch Snow in Carousel. He is looking forward to his first year at Camden Military Academy and will teach Spanish 1,2, English 7 and High School 101 as well as coach track and robotics.
