Class Update with Chaplain Simpson

By: Casey Robinson on Dec 24, 2020 | Categories: General, Academic

Our young physicists spent the first semester learning about classical mechanics and the insights of Sir Isaac Newton. The underlying need for algebra and trigonometry continued to remind them that mathematics is the language of science. Next semester promises to bring a study of Kepler’s Laws of planetary motion, electromagnetic fields, and introducing nuclear physics. Meanwhile, the various levels of algebra continue to inspire students to long for simpler times without quadratic equations and logarithms. Of course, the second semester only promises more of the same as the composite functions and trigonometry continue to increase in complexity and joy. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
