Civil Air Patrol Trip to McGrady Training Center

Last weekend our Civil Air Patrol squadron traveled to McCrady Training Center in Eastover, SC for Cadet Training Weekend. The weekend was filled with leadership training to include customs and courtesies, drill and teamwork and is the short version of the week long Encampment cadets participate in over the summer. Out of the 170 participants, our squadron sent 11 members in total, including two Senior Members (adults). Camden had two cadets serving on staff, three in the Advanced Training Flight and four in the Basic Training Flight. Capt. Paramore served as the Command of Cadets for the event and was pleased to announce the Honor Cadet of the weekend, our very own Camden student, Cadet Airman First Class Bimson! It was a great training event and our cadets enjoyed the camaraderie and making new friends.
