On Saturday, September 15, 2012 The Camden Squadron of the South Carolina Wing of Civil Air Patrol drove to Bermuda High, a GliderPort northeast of our campus.

Fifteen cadets had the opportunity to experience first-hand the Aeronautical Education they receive every other Tuesday in LtCol Melberg's room after the evening meal. They study basic aerodynamics, the theory of flight and discuss safety issues. LtCol Melberg, the Squadron Commander, presents lessons in Moral Leadership, Military Leadership, Character Development, and Drug Demand Reduction. Major DeCandia is the Aerospace Education Officer.
