On April 25th-26 the cadets of Camden Military Academy took a trip to Tracy’s Camp in Pinewood SC. The purpose of this trip was to retreat and to think about the things of God. At this retreat the boys were challenged by Rev. Kevin Mills of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Rev. Mills spoke about what it means to be a man of God as he shared personal and Biblical examples. Not only was this retreat about learning from Rev. Mills but also about having a fun time together. The boys enjoyed a great time in water as they participated in zip lining, canoeing and fishing. They also enjoyed a bonfire, night ropes maze and paintballing. Through these activities they were able to enjoy each other’s company and grow closer together as students. This trip is always a great time to spend time with the students and give a time to reflect on thing of God and each other.
