My 8th grade science classes learned about the rock cycle including the differences between sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock. Part of the class study included tumbling and polishing sample rocks from all three categories. Students enjoyed the four stage process of changing raw rock samples into attractive polished rocks.

The picture is a display of of some the cadet's hard work!
