I knew my son needed a change from the traditional public school setting and we had been looking at options for awhile. His grades were dwindling despite our motivation, encouragement and extra tutoring lessons. He had no drive or ambition. After visiting Camden Military Academy we all left there feeling so at ease and knew this was the place for him. He has gained so much self confidence, is excelling in Honors classes, advocating for himself, moving up in rank and exploring opportunities for his future. We could not be more proud of all he has accomplished thus far! Choosing to send our son to Camden Military Academy was one of the most challenging decisions our family has ever had to make. For starters, it’s nearly 800 miles from home. However, now at the end of his first year there, I never dreamed it would go as well as it has. He has grown and thrived in the culture at CMA in ways I’ve never imagined. He went from average grades to straight As, and that doesn’t honestly surprise me a whole lot because he’s crazy smart, but the 12:1 student/teacher ratio helps a lot, too. We love the leadership skills and confidence Logan has gained by being a cadet at CMA these last two years. He’s taking honors classes, has 4.3 GPA, finished 2nd in his class this year, on yearbook staff, ROTC, promotions and enjoys the brotherhood amongst many other things CMA offers.
