Camden Military Academy has students from across the United States and some international! This year a few of those international students are from China. Major Welfare Wang is a teacher and head soccer coach here at CMA and was once an international student here himself! Last week, he took our group of Chinese students on an outing that included a trip to Walmart to purchase snacks and other items and also lunch at our local Hibachi restaurant. “They are a long way from home, at CMA we try to make our cadets feel like home.” Major Wang does these trips monthly with these cadets. “For this year’s lunar New Year we plan to make hot pot and cadets can face time their parents on that day. We are excited about that hot pot.” – Major Welfare Wang. These are just some ways that our staff goes above and beyond to help our students acclimate and enjoy their time here at Camden.
