Are you tired of your son being a couch potato and PlayStation serving as his best friend? Does he need to improve academically? Provide him the exciting opportunity to embark on an unforgettable summer experience at Camden Military Academy!!
Camden Military Academy's unique high school summer school program offers your son success. Did he fail one or more subjects? Is he anxious to advance academically? Does he need an opportunity to refresh previously learned skills? Whatever the motivation for summer school, your son can thrive under the program offered to young men at CMA.

Additionally, we have now made available a summer camp for the 6-8 graders after attending class. The camp activities include paintball, boating, marksmanship, leadership development, scuba diving, and much more.
Outdoor Adventure Camp
This camp allows boys to be boys. We will be paintballing, hiking, camping and much more while learning valuable leadership and group dynamic skills. Don't miss out -- the interest is high!

A typical day at CMA summer school begins with breakfast followed by a three and one half-hour class in one course. After lunch and a short break, the students return to the classroom, either for their second course or a continuation of their morning course for those who are completing a course in two and one half weeks. Following a day of classes, students are allowed free time in the afternoon to utilize all campus facilities to include the modern outdoor pool, the gym, the weight room, the track, tennis courts, and the activity center with snack bar, televisions, and pool tables. Students who are interested in golf may play free at a local course. Supper is served at 6:30 PM, after which students return to their rooms for a two hour evening study hall. "Lights out" is at 10:00 PM.Camden Military Academy is fully accredited with the Southern Association of Independent Schools and features small classes, teacher tutoring and teacher-supervised mandatory evening study halls from Sunday night through Thursday night. All students must return a completed Guidance Counselor Recommendation form prior to the beginning of summer school.
Classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM with weekends being the opportunity for five day boarders to go home and seven day boarders to participate in the weekend activities to include pizza parties, cookouts, movie trips, and pool time. The weekend trips are well-organized and strongly supervised. These trips feature white water rafting in North Carolina, Myrtle Waves Water Park in Myrtle Beach, Carowinds Theme Park in Charlotte, and local trips for paintballing, fun parks and professional baseball games. All trips are included in the seven day tuition. Five day boarders may sign up for individual trips at additional cost.
