As I walked through campus earlier today, I realized how thankful I am that Camden Military Academy is all male.  There is nothing wrong with girls but there is definitely a time in life for everything!  With that being said, it is nice to see boys acting like boys and learning like boys.  There are lots of hands on activities going on to hold a guy’s interest- not just “boring” lectures that last over an hour.  I simply feel like that oftentimes boys are expected to “learn like girls” learn in the public school system which may stifle or bore a much more active boy.  It’s also nice not to have the girls as a distraction.  We all know that teenage boys’ minds will wander and they especially do if there is an attractive girl around!

In closing, I am very thankful that CMA has remained a very traditional, single gender military academy offering the opportunity for boys to be boys.
